Intel Ocotillo Failure Analysis lab is seeking a technician for a permanent night shift to support high-volume manufacturing using advanced nanofabrication tools. You will operate sputter coaters, spin coaters, Dual Beam FIB/PFIB and SEM, following schematics and safety practices.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or engineering studies and 2+ years in semiconductor or failure analysis, with the ability to lift up to 50 lb. This on-site role offers competitive pay and benefits.

Intel Ocotillo Failure Analysis lab is seeking a technician passionate with working in a lab setting. This role is permanent night shift.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Operate lab instruments to support high volume manufacturing of advanced technology nodes:
  • Hands on handling Silicon Wafer/pieces.
  • Operates lab tools, such as sputter coaters and spin coaters for sample pre-treatment.
  • Operates Dual Beam FIB/PFIB to perform site‑specific cross sectioning and prepare TEM samples, including site marking, depositing protective materials, de‑layering, imaging and TEM lamella preparation.
  • Operates SEM for imaging and material analysis.
• Works from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts or plans to perform moderately complex sample fabrication procedures.
• Participate in safety forums, lab sustaining and development, process transfer, tool ownership, BKM development, and cross training on other techniques.
• Willing to work compressed shift with 12hr shift.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lb.
• Long time standing and walking occasionally.

Qualifications:

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork, classes, research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School diploma; OR advanced engineering studies in the electrical, electronic of related field of study.
• 2+ years of experience in semiconductor industry, or failure analysis tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Desired candidate with more than five years of experience working in a semiconductor manufacturing facility or lab facility.
• Proficient in Dual Beam FIB/PFIB/SEM system with hands‑on experience.
• Background knowledge of semiconductor device structures and advanced technology nodes.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $51,710.00-99,770.00 USD (Hourly Role)
