Job summary

The University of Alabama invites applications for the Capstone Coordinator of its new Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD) program. This tenure-track/tenured or clinical-track role will help build a nationally distinctive program, aligning with CCHS' mission to expand access to occupational therapy across Alabama and the Southeast.

Qualifications

• Active OT license in a US jurisdiction; Alabama licensure eligibility.
• Doctoral degree (OTD or PhD; ABD may be considered).
• Minimum eight (8) years OT experience including clinical practice, academic administration, and scholarship.
• Six (6) years as a faculty member with teaching responsibilities at the postbaccalaureate level.

Responsibilities

• Assist Program Director & Associate Program Director with Accreditation & Compliance requirements for the OT program.
• Support advanced scholarly experiences and student scholarship within the capstone experience.
