Job summary

Citi Japan is seeking an Officer in OTC Derivatives Operations within Markets Operations to support post-trade processing for a broad range of derivative products. This hybrid, full-time role is based in Okinawa with interaction across Tokyo and client desks.

You will process settlements, maintain data accuracy, and collaborate with front office, legal, compliance, and finance to ensure regulatory reporting and high-quality client service. Strong English and Japanese communication is essential.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in OTC derivatives operations or related field.
• Fundamental understanding of financial products, derivatives, settlements, and accounting.
• Proactive, energetic, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in English and Japanese, with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Process settlements for derivative products and liaise with external clients.
• Coordinate with internal and overseas teams to ensure smooth service.
• Manage product classes across Rates, Currency, Credit, Equity, and Commodity derivatives.
• Maintain static data and generate regulatory reports.
• Support ISDA documentation and CCP/margining activities.
• Provide guidance and training to new team members.
• Aim for high-quality, high-volume productivity.
