Job summary

Cognizant in Dearborn, MI is seeking specialists for OTA deployment, ECU flashing, and in-vehicle automation testing. You will work with CAN tools (Vector CANOE, CANALYZER) and manage defects, versions, and tests across vehicle modules. Onsite role with competitive benefits and COLA.

Responsibilities include performing software updates via OTA, validating 3G/4G TCUs, NAVI, and HMI modules, and ensuring timely delivery of test results. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Experience in creating software updates and deploying Over-the-air (OTA).
• Experience in ECU flashing and updating via OTA, including fleet updates.
• Strong background in in-vehicle automation testing and using CAN tools.
• Familiar with issue/defect/version management tools (JIRA, GitHub, SVN).
• Capable of stress, functional, feature and core hotfix testing within targeted timelines.
• Validation experience for OTA updates on 3G/4G TCUs, NAVI, HMI modules.

Responsibilities

• Perform software updates deployment and OTA testing.
• Conduct ECU flashing and vehicle update verification.
• Execute IV testing with CAN tools; analyze results.
• Manage issues and test artifacts with Jira/GitHub/SVN.
• Carry out stress and functional testing within deadlines.
• Validate OTA updates for various vehicle modules (TCUs, NAVI, HMI).
