Job summary

River Grove Health and Rehabilitation is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to deliver occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed OT. You will contribute to individualized treatment plans and collaborate with a positive interdisciplinary team to support resident independence and quality of care.

The role requires completing an accredited OTA program, holding a valid OT license in the state, and proficient use of Microsoft Office for documentation and communication.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Valid state Occupational Therapy Assistant license.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and basic internet navigation.

Responsibilities

• Assist in screening and input to initial evaluations.
• Implement treatment per established plan of care.
• Document accurately; comply with guidelines and billing requirements.
• Maintain patient-centered interactions with patients, the interdisciplinary team, and facility staff.
• Provide direct supervision to rehabilitation technicians during group and individual treatment.
• Participate in utilization review, case management, care conferences, and meetings as directed.
• Monitor changes in patient conditions and communicate progress timely.
• Maintain confidentiality of information.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
