Pitt Community College seeks a Program Director for the OTA program to provide leadership, plan and coordinate all instructional and program management activities. The role reports to the Dean of Health Sciences and oversees faculty, budgets, and clinical placements.

The director will ensure compliance with accreditation and certification standards, develop curricula, oversee schedules, and maintain strong community and industry partnerships to support student success in occupational therapy

Qualifications

• Master’s degree; NC license; national OT certification (COTA/OTR).
• Minimum five years of occupational therapy experience including clinical practice.
• Administrative, program planning, budgeting, and supervision experience.
• Experience teaching at postsecondary level (≥3 years).

Responsabilités

• Plan, execute, and evaluate annual program goals and activities.
• Ensure accreditation and external standards compliance.
• Develop and supervise program policies, schedules, and faculty.
• Oversee faculty scheduling, development, and evaluations.
• Manage budgets and resources for the OTA program.
• Coordinate clinical placements and advisory committees.
