Compensation: Pay Range: $22.90- $37.25 / hour. To provide direct patient care under supervision, coordinate with supportive personnel, assist with discharge planning, document information, communicate with staff, patients, and families, participate in educational activities, support departmental operations, and perform special projects. Also, to coordinate assignments of Rehab Techs, work-study students, and volunteers.
Graduate from an AOTA-accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program required. Work experience cannot substitute for educational requirements. Must be licensed, eligible for licensure, or practicing under a limited permit as an OTA per Alabama State Board regulations. CPR certification required.
