Grand Canyon University in Phoenix seeks an Academic Fieldwork Coordinator for its new OTA program. This 12-month, full-time role combines fieldwork coordination with clinical site partnerships and accreditation compliance.

You will evaluate fieldwork educators, support faculty, and travel as needed to sites outside Maricopa County. Requires a Master’s degree, 2+ years clinical practice, and an active AZ OT/OTA license.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required.
• Minimum of 2 years clinical practice experience.
• Active, current, unencumbered AZ OT or OTA license.
• Experience as a clinical instructor/clinical supervisor.
• Experience working with healthcare systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the program's fieldwork components and serve as point person for clinical coordination.
• Evaluate fieldwork educators and site supervisors in coordination with Faculty Services.
• Attend college and departmental meetings; support program faculty during On Campus Experiences.
• Establish and maintain partnerships with clinics, hospitals and community agencies to meet clinical placement needs.
• Address fieldwork educator and student concerns using chain of command and university policies.
• Conduct in-person site visits for evaluation as needed.
• Travel may be required outside the Maricopa County area.
• Ensure accreditation standards, clinical guidelines, policies and procedures are created and reviewed.
• Collaborate with the program lead; teaching load will vary with program needs.
