Job summary

Methodist Hospitals in Indiana seeks an Occupational Therapist to evaluate and treat patients across the lifespan who lost upper-extremity function or have ADL impairments due to trauma, surgery, or illness. You will develop a treatment plan and work with patients and families to maximize independence.

The role involves documenting assessments, educating patients and families, supervising OT students and COTA as needed, and collaborating in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Designs and executes treatment plans based on assessments.
• Documents assessments and interventions accurately and timely.

• Evaluates upper extremity function and ADLs performance.
• Participates in multidisciplinary meetings and case reviews.
• Supervises COTA as needed.
• Supervises OT and COTA students as needed.
