Job summary

Occupational Therapy Team Leader

Role Overview

Lead and support the occupational therapy team in a rehabilitation setting, assisting with daily operations such as scheduling, training, and communication with hospital departments. Provide direct patient care, building meaningful relationships to understand their physical, mental, and emotional needs, and help them achieve recovery goals. Celebrate patient progress and ensure compassionate, personalized treatment utilizing the latest technology in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Therapy Operations in team management and daily functions.
• Deliver direct patient care and foster positive relationships.
• Ensure seamless implementation of procedures and treatments.
• Support team training, orientation, and communication efforts.

Qualifications & Skills

• Current licensure or certification as per state regulations.
• CPR certification within 30 days of hire if not already obtained.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited therapy program.
• At least three years of occupational therapy or leadership experience, with a minimum of two years in clinical practice.
• Active on Therapy Clinical Ladder or holding specialty certifications preferred.
