Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking an Occupational Therapy Team Leader to guide the therapy team and ensure high-quality patient care during rehabilitation. You will oversee scheduling, orientation, and training while delivering direct patient care and fostering strong patient relationships.

The role emphasizes leadership, collaboration with hospital departments, and commitment to patient-centered outcomes within a national inpatient rehabilitation setting.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification as required by state regulations.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum of three years of experience in occupational therapy or leadership, with a minimum of two years clinical.
• Active on Therapy Clinical Ladder or specialty professional certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the Director of Therapy Operations in daily operations of the therapy team, including scheduling, orientation, training, and communication with staff and hospital departments.
• Providing direct care to patients and building rewarding relationships to aid in recovery.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
