Job summary

Cyberjobs is seeking an experienced OT Engineer contractor to keep site OT assets running safely, reliably, and securely in Monaca, PA. This hands-on role focuses on maintenance planning, backups, patching, firmware, and cyber defense across DCS, PLCs, and networks.

You will document work, coordinate with cross-functional teams, obtain permits, and ensure changes follow MOC processes without disrupt­ing production. Immediate joining and contract-to-hire potential are offered.

Qualifications

• Five+ years in OT, industrial automation, or safety-critical ops.
• Hands-on with Windows-based OT assets, PLC/DCS, and industrial networks.
• Knowledge of risk-based maintenance, cybersecurity fundamentals, and change control.
• Ability to follow procedures, document work, and escalate without production impact.
• Strong coordination and communication across Operations, IT, OT security, and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute OT maintenance per asset criticality and schedule.
• Log preventive, corrective, and cybersecurity work in SharePoint with details.
• Report incomplete work and escalate overdue tasks to Asset Custodian and SPF.
• Deferrable work documented with mitigations and outage planning.
• Obtain permits and follow site access procedures.
• Triage and troubleshoot OT hardware, software, network, and endpoints; document changes.
