Job summary

OC2 Occidental Chemical Corporation in Houston, TX is seeking an OT Security Analyst to secure and support industrial control systems and manufacturing networks.

You will partner with plant operations, engineering, infrastructure, and enterprise cybersecurity teams to assess risk, implement security controls, respond to incidents, and support compliance with industry standards and internal requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, information systems, computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Cybersecurity OT/ICS security or related disciplines.
• Experience securing PLC, DCS, SCADA, SIS, and process-control environments.
• Experience applying security principles to industrial environments.
• Familiarity with Management of Change (MOC) processes.
• Knowledge of IEC 62443, NIST CSF/800-53/800-171.
• Willingness to travel up to 20%.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and respond to cybersecurity events affecting OT and manufacturing environments.
• Conduct OT security risk assessments and security audits with operations teams.
• Support secure design and implementation of industrial networks and control systems.
• Evaluate security impacts of changes before implementation.
• Develop and maintain OT reference architectures and control requirements.
• Align OT controls with enterprise security strategy.
• Participate in disaster recovery exercises and incident response activities.
• Create and maintain OT security standards and documentation.
