Job summary

Stern Therapy Consultants is hiring a PRN Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our rehabilitation team at Autumn Lake at Chesapeake Woods in Cambridge, MD. The OT will evaluate and treat residents, address ADLs and cognitive/physical needs, and collaborate with nursing and rehab staff to support meaningful functional goals.

Qualified candidates hold an active OT license. Flexible scheduling and potential for diverse short- and long-term resident experiences are offered in a skilled nursing

Qualifications

• Active Occupational Therapist license required.
• Strong communication and clinical reasoning skills.
• Skilled nursing experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy evaluations and treatment sessions based on resident needs.
• Address ADLs, upper extremity function, coordination, cognition, and adaptive techniques.
• Recommend equipment and strategies that support safe participation in daily routines.
• Partner with rehab staff, nursing, and families to support resident progress.
• Complete timely and accurate documentation.
