Overview

The Therapy Department at our skilled nursing facility is looking for an OT Occupational Therapist to fill a PRN or part-time position. You'll work in our skilled nursing facility providing exceptional, personalized care that addresses each resident's unique needs. The OT Occupational Therapist PRN will develop treatment plans, and establish treatment goals to improve functional independence.

You will provide education and training to patients, families, and caregivers regarding diagnoses, progress, and use therapeutic techniques to improve, rehabilitate, or maintain motor skills and overall ability to perform everyday activities. The OT will assess the patient's physical, communication and cognitive skills to develop a treatment plan. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required to effectively understand patients' needs and explain the treatment process, and to clearly document treatment plans and progress.
