Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a recent graduate to contribute to next-generation control systems for power generation facilities. You will work on modern control room technologies, user interface design, and security enhancements to improve reliability and efficiency.

This role offers exposure to platform development, AI-enabled features, and collaboration with engineering and cybersecurity teams to strengthen operation resilience in evolving energy environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other STEM majors.
• 0–1 year of related engineering or STEM experience.
• Recent graduates are eligible to apply.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and develop technologies for modern control room environments
• Support the design and development of the controls and HMI platform for reliable power plant operations
• Support the design and prototyping of control system interfaces using simulation tools
• Assist in implementing security controls and best practices for OT systems
• Gather and analyze feedback from stakeholders to inform controls and platform design as well as security improvements
• Contribute to documentation, templates, and standards that support customer operations
• Explore opportunities to integrate advanced technologies into control systems
• Evaluate computing technologies to support control system feature enhancements built on generative AI
