Job summary

Adoration Health, an affiliate of BrightSpring Health Services, seeks a Home Health Occupational Therapist to provide patient-centered care in Cartersville, GA. This role offers 1:1 patient interactions, flexible scheduling, and a supportive team in a home health setting.

You will conduct evaluations, set goals, and collaborate with families and physicians to promote independence and quality of life. A CAPTE-approved OT program and state licensure are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CAPTE-approved Occupational Therapy program.
• Current OT licensure in state; CPR certification required (may be offered on hire).
• Minimum 2 years of adult OT experience; home health preferred.
• Strong communication, observation, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform OT evaluation and treatment per physician orders; recommend adaptive equipment.
• Develop measurable goals and treatment plans to maximize independence.
• Maintain communication with treatment team, patient, and family.
• Document services thoroughly for accurate billing; supervise OT assistants as applicable.

Responsibilities

As a Home Health Occupational Therapist, You will:

• Perform occupational therapy evaluation and treatment of patients based upon physician orders, including recommendation and procurement of adaptive equipment
• Establish measurable goals and develop treatment plans to move patients toward their maximum level of independence and/or function
• Maintain communication among the treatment team, physician, patient, and family members as applicable
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation of services provided to ensure proper billing
• Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants in direct patient care and patient-related activities in accordance with state practice act

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Occupational Therapy Education program approved by CAPTE
• Current Occupational Therapist licensure in State and American Heart Association CPR certification required; CPR certification may be offered and completed upon hire
• Two (2) years of experience in adult occupational therapy, home health experience preferred
• Excellent observation, verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, basic math skills; physical therapy skills per competency checklist
