Job summary

Adoration Health, an affiliate of BrightSpring Health Services, seeks a Home Health Occupational Therapist in Demorest, GA. Full-time, Mon-Fri, with a $7,500 sign-on bonus for external candidates. Join a team that values patient-centered care and professional growth.

You will perform 1:1 home health OT, develop goals, and collaborate with the care team, enjoying supportive scheduling and meaningful outcomes for patients.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CAPTE-approved OT program.
• Current OT licensure in the state and CPR certification.
• Two years of adult OT experience; home health preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform OT evaluation and treatment per physician orders and adapt equipment as needed.
• Set measurable goals and treatment plans to maximize independence.
• Maintain communication with treatment team, patient, and family.
• Document services timely for proper billing.
• Supervise OT Assistants in direct patient care per state act.

Responsibilities

As a Home Health Occupational Therapist, You will:

• Perform occupational therapy evaluation and treatment of patients based upon physician orders, including recommendation and procurement of adaptive equipment
• Establish measurable goals and develop treatment plans to move patients toward their maximum level of independence and/or function
• Maintain communication among the treatment team, physician, patient, and family members as applicable
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation of services provided to ensure proper billing
• Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants in direct patient care and patient-related activities in accordance with state practice act

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Occupational Therapy Education program approved by CAPTE
• Current Occupational Therapist licensure in State and American Heart Association CPR certification required; CPR certification may be offered and completed upon hire
• Two (2) years of experience in adult occupational therapy, home health experience preferred
• Excellent observation, verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, basic math skills; physical therapy skills per competency checklist
