Job summary

Robinson Terrace Rehabilitation and Nursing is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our interdisciplinary rehab team. You will evaluate residents, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and collaborate to support residents' functional independence and daily living goals.

This is a full-time position in a skilled nursing environment with competitive weekly pay of $45-$55 hourly.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Current New York State Occupational Therapist license.
• Experience in a skilled nursing or rehab setting preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans based on medical diagnoses.
• Implement OT treatment programs to support functional independence and mobility.
• Monitor, assess, and document resident progress through daily notes, progress reports, and re-certifications.
• Ensure confidentiality and maintain professional standards of resident care.
• Maintain accurate documentation by auditing resident and department records.
• Provide clinical supervision to Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) as needed.
• Participate in care plan meetings and interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Prepare OT-related reports and assist with data tracking as directed by the Rehab Director.
• Support departmental initiatives and projects as assigned.

Position Overview
