Job summary

BlueScope North America is seeking a Reliability Network Engineer and Cybersecurity Coordinator to design, support, security, and lifecycle manage OT infrastructure and networking systems across critical manufacturing operations, bridging Operations, Engineering, IT, Cybersecurity and external partners to build secure, resilient OT environments.

The role combines industrial network architecture with cybersecurity governance, risk management, and vulnerability remediation, aligning with BlueScope

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity or IT or CS or equivalent.
• Basic IT and cybersecurity terminology understanding.
• Strong organizational, facilitation, communication, and presentation skills.
• Windows desktop/server administration.
• Familiarity with computer hardware.
• Good analytical and critical thinking.
• Willing to be contacted outside of office hours, including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Design, document, and maintain OT network architecture.
• Collaborate on IT/OT demilitarized zones (DMZs) and secure remote access.
• Evaluate technical requirements and propose security network-based solutions.
• Participate in architecture reviews and technical design discussions for OT initiatives.
• Provide cybersecurity and compliance guidance to ensure alignment with BlueScope policies.
