Job summary

ON.energy is seeking an OT Systems Engineer to deploy, configure, and support operational technology networks for utility-scale Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects. This role focuses on field deployment and ensuring reliable communications between control systems, EMS, PCS, BMS, SCADA, and remote monitoring platforms.

Qualifications

Experience deploying OT or industrial networks in field environments (power/renewables/utilities).
Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking in operational settings.
Hands-on with industrial networking equipment (switches/routers/firewalls).
Familiarity with SCADA/EMS/PLCs/HMI/industrial control systems.

Responsibilities

Deploy and configure OT network infrastructure for BESS projects (switches, routers, firewalls, cellular devices, site equipment).
Support commissioning by ensuring reliable connectivity between EMS, PCS, BMS, protection relays, meters, and SCADA.
