Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Network Engineer – BMS/EPMS to design, implement, and operate OT networks for large-scale data centers. You will ensure secure, reliable connectivity for BMS, EPMS, and facility control networks.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in OT networking, BACnet/IP knowledge, and a proven ability to collaborate with facilities, controls engineering, and operations teams to enhance security, segmentation, and performance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in OT networking for industrial, manufacturing, or critical facilities.
• Strong understanding of routing, switching, firewalls, and network segmentation.
• Experience with building automation systems, industrial control systems, or facility infrastructure.
• Knowledge of OT networking protocols, including BACnet/IP.
• Experience partnering with cross-functional engineering, operations, and facilities teams.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support OT networks for BMS, EPMS, and facility control systems.
• Develop and maintain secure network segmentation strategies and OT cybersecurity practices.
• Standardize network architecture and deployment processes across sites.
• Manage network firewalls, monitoring platforms, and OT-to-IT connectivity.
• Troubleshoot network performance, reliability, and connectivity issues.
• Collaborate with controls engineers, facilities teams, and vendors on network integrations.
• Create and maintain network documentation, standards, and procedures.
• Support ongoing efforts to improve network security, scalability, and efficiency.
