West Monroe is hiring a Network Architect for our Enterprise Technology Practice. The architect will design, build, and deploy IT/OT solutions within secure critical infrastructure environments across Energy, Utilities, and other industries. As a technology-agnostic firm, consultants will learn innovative tools, platforms, and modern processes, expanding into areas like Infrastructure-as-Code. Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed designs for on-premises, backbone, field area, and cloud networks based on client requirements
• Architect, engineer, and deploy solutions for Nokia IP/MPLS, QoS, security, and utility SCADA communications supporting Utility Network Modernization
• Serve as SME in secure network design for critical infrastructure and OT, employing Next-Generation Firewalls like Palo Alto
• Collaborate with Cybersecurity and Energy & Utilities teams to deliver and grow IT/OT network solutions
• Lead project teams of 2-4+ consultants
• Manage, coach, and train junior consultants and network specialists on OT and infrastructure projects
• Contribute to practice development and OT community meetings
• Support business development through scoping conversations

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field preferred or equivalent experience
• Experience in consulting or industry roles preferred
• 5-10+ years in designing, engineering, and implementing IT networks
• Proficiency in: On-Prem Data Networking, L2 Switching, L3 Routing, Network Security, Network Services, and vendor technologies like Nokia, Palo Alto, Cisco, Meraki, FortiGate, CheckPoint
• Experience as a technical architect or managing engineering teams
• Strong critical thinking, leadership, communication, and project management skills
• Willingness to travel for client engagements in a hybrid work environment
• Bonus: familiarity with private telecom mediums and OT protocols like DNP3 or C37.94, and experience in Energy & Utilities or Industrial OT environments

Salary varies based on location, experience, and skills. Our total rewards include competitive pay, bonuses, benefits, flexible time off, and parental leave.

Locations and salary ranges include:

• Seattle/Washington, D.C.: $150,300—$178,200 USD
• Los Angeles: $163,100—$186,700 USD
• New York City/San Francisco: $175,600—$195,200 USD
• Other US locations: $140,500—$169,700 USD
