Job summary

MLC, headquartered in St. Louis, MO, invites a student to join as an OT Infrastructure Engineering Co-Op in Ste. Genevieve. You'll learn to support industrial networking, OT cybersecurity, Windows Server administration, and engineering IT platforms in a real manufacturing setting.

You'll build skills in infrastructure lifecycle, disaster recovery, data analysis, and automation while collaborating with OT, IT, Engineering, and Operations teams to sustain safe, reliable operations.

Qualifications

• Sophomore standing or higher pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related technical discipline
• Basic understanding of computer networking concepts, including IP addressing, switching, routing, and network troubleshooting
• Familiarity with Windows operating systems, hardware, and general IT infrastructure concepts
• Ability to work safely in an industrial manufacturing environment
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
• Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Monitor and support the reliability, security, and performance of industrial network infrastructure, servers, and OT systems
• Assist with Windows Server administration, virtualization technologies, backup verification, disaster recovery activities, and system maintenance
• Maintain OT asset inventories, network documentation, system configurations, and infrastructure records
• Support cybersecurity initiatives including vulnerability management, security monitoring, and OT security best practices
• Participate in infrastructure projects involving networking, virtualization, server systems, storage platforms, and access control technologies
• Assist with testing, deployment, commissioning, and validation of new systems and infrastructure upgrades
• Analyze operational data and develop reports, dashboards, and automation tools that improve visibility and efficiency
• Collaborate with OT, IT, Engineering, Operations, and Maintenance teams to troubleshoot issues and drive improvements
