Chenega MIOS is hiring an OT/ICS SOC Analyst in Huntsville, AL to monitor converged IT/OT environments and respond to cyber threats. The role emphasizes incident detection, containment, and collaboration with stakeholders to ensure safety and reliability of mission-critical systems.

You will leverage SIEM/EDR/XDR tools, follow playbooks, and integrate MITRE ATT&CK tactics into investigations, while mentoring junior analysts and supporting readiness exercises.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field plus 3+ years in cybersecurity/IT.
• Active DOD IAT Level II or higher certification required.
• Active Secret clearance with TS/SCI eligibility.

Responsabilités

• Monitor security telemetry across IT/OT, endpoints, cloud, and apps.
• Investigate escalated security events for scope and impact.
• Correlate alerts with assets, threats, and user behavior.
• Lead or perform incident triage and preserve evidence.
• Contain and coordinate remediation with stakeholders.
• Develop incident records, timelines, and technical reports.
• Apply MITRE ATT&CK and threat intel to investigations.
• Tune alerts and improve detection to reduce false positives.
• Create and maintain incident response playbooks and dashboards.
• Mentor SOC Analysts and support cyber exercises and readiness.
