Job summary

HiredFirst is seeking an Occupational Therapist to work in a healthcare setting in Federal Way, WA for a 13-week contract. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 40 hours weekly, with compensation of $1900–$1944 per week.

The OT will assess patients, develop personalized treatment plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support ADLs and functional independence.

Candidates must hold an active WA OT license, NBCOT certification, and meet BLS/CPR requirements.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program (Master's or Doctorate).
• Current and active Washington OT license.
• NBCOT certification required.
• BLS/CPR certification for healthcare providers.
• 13-week contract.
• 40-hour work week.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive screenings and evaluations of patient functional abilities.
• Develop and implement individualized OT treatment plans focused on improving ADLs and functional independence.
• Provide skilled therapeutic interventions and modifications to help patients develop, recover, or maintain daily living and work skills.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, including evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries, in compliance with facility standards.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team, including PTs, SLPs, and nursing staff, to ensure a coordinated approach to patient care.
