Job summary

Lovelace UNM Rehabilitation Hospital in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a day shift, PRN, Occupational Therapy-OT to provide therapy across developmental, physical, cognitive, and emotional impairments. The role supports patient rehabilitation in a state-of-the-art hospital setting.

The position requires a BS in OT, NM licensure or licensure eligibility, and BLS within 14 days. A Master’s in OT and one year of related experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current Licensure or licensure eligible in Occupational Therapy in the State of NM.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy preferred.
• One year of experience in a job-related environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for providing occupational therapy treatment in the rehabilitation of individuals with developmental, physical, cognitive, and/or emotional impairments, disabilities, and/or handicaps.
• Adheres to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.
