Job summary

Georgia System Operations Corporation is seeking an OT Cybersecurity Engineer I-V to help protect the electric grid’s operational technology and critical systems. The role blends cybersecurity engineering with regulatory compliance and risk management across GSOC and GTC environments.

Ideal candidates will have OT/ICS security experience, NERC CIP knowledge, and strong analytical and collaboration skills to strengthen security controls and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering or related technical field.
• Experience or aptitude in cybersecurity engineering, OT/ICS security, infrastructure engineering, or related disciplines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to document technical processes, controls, and decisions clearly.
• Good written and verbal communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Support security, resilience, and regulatory compliance of OT environments.
• Apply secure engineering and defense-in-depth principles to OT, ICS, networks, servers, and access controls.
• Develop and sustain NERC CIP policies, procedures, and compliance evidence.
• Assist with risk assessments, vulnerability management, and incident response.
• Support system hardening, patching, network segmentation, monitoring, and secure access.
