Job summary

Peraton seeks an Operational Technology (OT) Criteria and Standards Analyst to support PACOM J6 and establish the organizational foundation for IC/SCADA-focused cybersecurity assessments across the PACOM AOR.

Location: Fort Meade (Annapolis Junction), MD. This role focuses on developing OT criteria, mapping networks, and adapting existing frameworks for OT environments within the defense sector.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years with BS/BA; Minimum 10 years with MS/MA; Minimum 7 years with Ph.D. Will consider HS+16 years of experience.
• 4–6 years of OT cybersecurity knowledge in SCADA, PLC, HMI, DCS, and other industrial automation systems.
• Advanced OT knowledge with cyber operations and defensive support tailored to secure critical infrastructure.
• U.S. Citizenship required; Active TS with ability to obtain/maintain SCI.

Responsibilities

• Develop OT-specific assessment criteria aligned to DISA OT STIGs.
• Characterize anomalous behaviors and differentiate adversarial actions, malfunctions, and compliance deviations.
• Provide network mapping and analysis of PACOM OT and critical infrastructure control systems.
• Adapt existing OT inspection criteria framework for OT environments.
