Job summary

The Lakes Home Care Services is hiring an Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our team, delivering patient-centered care in outpatient settings and in patients' homes to enhance daily living skills.

You will perform assessments, develop treatment plans, guide therapeutic exercises, educate families, and collaborate with clinicians to coordinate comprehensive home health services.

Qualifications

• Outpatient experience required.
• Knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
• Familiarity with medical terminology.
• Expertise in Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
• Proficiency in patient care.
• Experience in occupational health.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments to determine individual needs and goals.
• Develop personalized treatment plans to improve patients' abilities to perform daily activities.
• Provide therapeutic exercises and activities to enhance patients' motor skills and coordination.
• Educate patients and their families on adaptive techniques and equipment.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
