Job summary

Sholom Community Alliance in Saint Louis Park, MN seeks a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to work under the supervision of an OTR, helping residents improve daily living tasks, basic motor functions and cognitive ability.

This full-time role offers a wage of $27.00–$31.50 per hour, Monday–Friday with an occasional Sunday every 8 weeks. Requires an Associate’s Degree, MN licensure as a COTA, CPR/First Aid certification, and preference for geriatric experience.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree from an accredited school in Occupational Therapy Assistant required.
• One or more years experience as an Occupational Therapy Assistant working with a geriatric population preferred.
• Must be registered and licensed with the State of Minnesota as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant and must maintain licensure.
• CPR/First Aid certified through American Red Cross required.

SUMMARY

The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) performs a variety of therapy procedures and treatments under the direction of the Occupational Therapist, Registered (OTR); assisting clients to improve their ability to perform daily living tasks, basic motor functions and cognitive ability.

• Wage: $27.00-$31.50/hour
• Hours: Full time. Monday-Friday and one Sunday every 8 weeks.

• CPR/First Aid certified through American Red Cross required. Hospice and Medicare Home Care: Possesses a valid driver’s license with good driving record, and proof of valid insurance. Must have reliable transportation.
