Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant for a PRN role at BHMC-El Dorado. The OTA will work under the supervision of an OT to provide care for a diverse patient population and complete essential competencies. This position requires an Arkansas OTA license, an associate degree, and CPR certification (or obtainable on hire).

Shifts are day-based with hours scheduled as needed. The team focuses on professional growth and high-quality patient care within Rehab Therapies.

Qualifications

• Active Arkansas State Board Occupational Therapist Assistant license.
• Associate’s Degree in Occupational Therapy.
• CPR certification required but can be completed upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide care under the direction of an Occupational Therapist.
• Care for a complex patient population with independence and accountability.
• Maintain facility competencies and participate in professional and departmental growth.

Department: Occupational TherapyShift: DayWorking Hours: This is a PRN position that will be scheduled as needed.Summary:The Occupational Therapist Assistant demonstrates independence and accountability in providing care for a complex patient population. They are committed to professional and departmental growth and enhancement, and are able to complete all facility competencies. The OT Assistant must possess the skills and knowledge necessary to provide appropriate care under the direction of an Occupational Therapist to the patient populations served.
