Job summary

Archbold Mitchell Hospital in Camilla, GA is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapy Assistant for acute rehab, with a day shift (8am-5pm). A sign-on bonus of up to $2,500 is available for candidates with one year of experience. Requires two-year OTA program, GA license, and BCLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited two year occupational therapy assistant program.
• Licensed as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in the State of Georgia; BCLS certified.
• Experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement and document patient treatment per plan of care for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
• Provide formal and informal teaching to patients and their family members.
• Notify therapists of changes in patient status and document in the medical record.
• Complete progress notes accurately and legibly and submit timely.
