Fortune 100 Oil and Gas Company is seeking an Application Support Engineer III in Pasadena, TX, on a full-time 1-year contract with a high likelihood of extension or conversion. The role focuses on deploying, maintaining, and lifecycle management of PCN/OT application systems across on-prem and Azure environments.

The engineer ensures cybersecurity compliance, asset inventory, and patch management, while developing PowerShell automation and collaborating with cybersecurity and operations teams.

Formación

• Experience supporting on-premise and Azure OT applications.
• Experience deploying and troubleshooting Windows servers.
• Experience designing and implementing platform deployments and lifecycle projects.
• Strong ability to document infrastructure clearly and communicate issues.

Responsabilidades

• Deploy and life-cycle PCN/OT app systems on-prem and Azure.
• Troubleshoot Windows Server environments to minimize downtime.
• Manage VMware ESXi and vCenter for virtualization and performance.
• Maintain cybersecurity standards and patch cycles; support risk compliance.
• Develop PowerShell scripts to automate maintenance and reporting.
• Document configurations and procedures; support audits in OT environment.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and cybersecurity teams to resolve issues.
