Job summary

Pearce Services is seeking an experienced Permit Specialist to manage OSP telecommunications permits from initial preparation through final approval. The role emphasizes NESC knowledge and working with utilities and municipal codes in Washington and Oregon, with Ziply permitting experience highly preferred.

The position requires strong organizational skills, the ability to travel up to 20%, and the capacity to coordinate across engineering teams, vendors, and managers to ensure timely permit

Qualifications

• OSP permitting experience required.
• Strong knowledge of NESC standards and utility codes.
• Experience reviewing and submitting permit packages.

Responsibilities

• Manage full OSP permitting lifecycle from kickoff to approval.
• Prepare, submit, track, and obtain telecom permits.
• Review projects for compliance with NESC and local codes.
• Coordinate with municipalities, utilities, and project managers.
• Maintain records and monitor permit deadlines.
