OSP Inspectors -QA/QC
We are seeking several OSP Inspectors -QA/QC Compliance for a long-term contract role. You will be part of a long-haul Fiber build team covering the Western Minneapolis MN area towards the Litchfield, Minnesota area.
Per diem and mileage will be provided when away from your local market. Although we strongly prefer candidates that are quasi-local i.e. within the build footprint. Per Diem will be paid for overnights.
Role:
Inspect OSP Construction of a large Fiber Build in the Western Minneapolis, MN area towards Litchfield, Minnesota area. Verify the predominantly underground (UG) fiber build work that has been completed and capture the additional field work needed for completion. QA/QC work to verify compliance and that the work was completed correctly in the field and communicate daily updates to the project management team.
Position oversees, inspects, and monitors contractual field work, which includes excavations, boring, placement of hand-holes, fiber cable installation, grounding, and monitoring restoration.
Validates as-built and project closeout documentation to confirm any red-line changes have been incorporated into the final design and that all project completion requirements are met.

A minimum of 1 year of experience in the telecommunications industry experience in the construction field with specific focus on fiber optic network deployment (i.e. fiber technician, inspector, UG).
