Job summary

StarTech Networks Inc. seeks an experienced OSP Field SME to lead field surveys for fiber deployments and ensure adherence to safety and regulatory standards. You will validate data, resolve field conflicts, and mentor field teams across the Midwest region.

Responsibilities include coordinating with engineering and permitting teams, conducting audits, and driving continuous improvement while maintaining compliance with NESC, NEC, OSHA, MUTCD, and DOT requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience conducting field surveys for OSP fiber deployments.
• Knowledge of permitting and utility requirements is essential.
• Ability to mentor field teams and drive adherence to standards.

Location: Midwest region (Ohio, Illinois and Louisiana)

Industry: OSP Engineering / Fiber Network Deployment

Travel: Field travel required

Key Responsibilities

• Manage aerial and underground OSP field surveys for fiber network deployments.
• Validate field data, identify constructability issues, and resolve site conflicts.
• Mentor field teams and drive adherence to fielding standards, quality, and safety requirements.
• Conduct field package audits and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
