Job summary

Ziply Fiber is seeking a Manager, Outside Plant Engineering to lead an OSP engineering team across our fiber network expansion. You will supervise engineering work orders, ensure compliance with standards, and drive project delivery on time and within budget.

You will coordinate with municipalities, utilities, and contractors, oversee permitting, and manage documentation until project closeout, while mentoring staff and maintaining safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• Demonstrated leadership experience leading teams.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and database tools.
• Ability to work independently and multitask effectively.

Responsibilities

• Lead an Outside Plant (OSP) Engineering team and provide leadership and mentorship.
• Oversee engineering work orders within geographic area and ensure compliance with standards.
• Manage engineering processes and documentation through project completion.
• Identify permitting authorities and oversee permit applications.
• Develop, coordinate, and execute project schedules with contractors and stakeholders.
• Coordinate with municipalities, utilities and internal teams; verify contractor invoices.
