Our company is seeking a dynamic, innovative and experienced OSP Engineering Manager to lead our Outside Plant (OSP) Engineering team. This position requires a unique individual with a background in Quality Assurance, FTTH, FTTB, Telecommunications, and OSP Engineering. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role. Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 per year

Responsibilities

• Overseeing all aspects of OSP engineering, including design, construction, and maintenance of our outside plant network.
• Ensuring quality assurance and control in all OSP engineering projects.
• Leading, mentoring, and developing a high-performing team of OSP engineers.
• Managing the deployment of FTTH and FTTB networks.
• Collaborating with other departments to integrate OSP engineering activities.
• Developing and implementing strategic plans to improve OSP engineering efficiency and effectiveness.
• Ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local telecommunications regulations.
• Managing project budgets and timelines, and ensuring all projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Providing technical expertise and guidance in the resolution of complex OSP engineering issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in OSP engineering, with a focus on FTTH and FTTB networks.
• Proven experience in managing a team of engineers, and a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Strong knowledge of quality assurance and control principles and practices.
• Excellent understanding of telecommunications regulations and standards.
• Strong technical skills, with the ability to solve complex OSP engineering problems.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in the use of computer software applications, including CAD and GIS.
