Job summary

Cygnus Professionals Inc. seeks an OSP Engineer II to support outside plant engineering for a telecommunications network. The role requires fiber plant design, general construction knowledge, and familiarity with network plant practices, databases, and permitting processes.

You will work with systems and databases, applying ROW and property rights expertise to projects while leveraging Word, Excel, Visio, ArcGIS/ESRI, 3GIS, and Google Earth for data analysis and documentation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in telecommunications, data networking, or wireless sectors.
• Fiber plant design and general construction knowledge is required.
• Comprehensive computer skills including Word, Excel, Visio, ArcGIS/ESRI, 3GIS, Google Earth.
• Knowledge of network plant and local practices.
• Experience with engineering systems and databases and permit acquisition.

Position Summary

The OSP Engineer II supports outside plant engineering for the telecommunications network. This role applies knowledge of fiber plant design, general construction, and network plant and local practices, and works with engineering systems and databases. It also requires a working knowledge of right-of-way, property rights, and permit acquisition.
