Job summary

Aspire Communications is seeking an OSP Skilled Laborer to support large-scale construction projects with conduit placement and fiber installation. You will work closely with the OSP team to plan conduit strategies, perform trenching, install conduits, and ensure safety protocols are followed.

Responsibilities include handling materials, operating basic construction equipment, documenting work, and adapting to periodic travel requirements.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Minimum of 1 year in the construction industry; experience with conduit installation preferred.
Valid driver’s license; Class A preferred.
Willingness to travel regionally for project locations.
Ability to work after hours, weekends, and evenings when needed.

Responsibilities

Load, unload, and distribute materials, machinery, and tools according to project plans.
Perform trenching and excavation with attention to depth and alignment specifications.
Install conduits, feed and secure cables using appropriate tools.
Erect or dismantle temporary structures such as shoring and braces.
Pour concrete and use related tools.
Document conduit placement activities and report deviations.
