Job summary

QinetiQ US in the United States is seeking an OSINT Analyst to leverage open-source information and produce all-source analytic products in support of defense intelligence. This role requires strong analytic skills and the ability to work within security protocols.

You will analyze publicly available information to identify trends and relationships, collaborate with IC teams, and deliver concise, insightful reports.

Qualifications

• Current TS/SCI clearance with Counterintelligence polygraph.
• Mastery of qualitative and quantitative analytic methodologies.
• Ability to define comprehensive, new research approaches in OSINT.
• Ability to articulate findings across IC boundaries and to stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
• Ability to communicate complex information from incomplete or highly technical data.
• Ability to collaborate with IC members on information sharing and collection.
• Ability to develop concise, insightful OSINT products for defense intelligence.

Position Overview

We are seeking an OSINT Analyst to leverage publicly available information and provide all source analytic products in support of defense intelligence.

Responsibilities

• Conducts all-source analytic production on sources and products of information available from public, private, and U.S. and foreign Government open source materials within established security protocols.
• Analyzes foreign and domestic based publicly available information to identify trends, patterns, and relationships that provide unique insights to address defense intelligence requirements.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Current TS/SCI security clearance with a Counterintelligence polygraph; #QinetiqClearedJob
• In-depth knowledge and understanding of the OSINT Analyst activities required to meet mission requirements.
• Demonstrates mastery of qualitative and quantitative analytic methodologies and pursue developments in academia or other fields that affect tradecraft methodology.
• Ability to define comprehensive, new, or unique research approaches that enable rigorous assessments to address and contribute to high-level tasks.
• Ability to demonstrate in-depth analysis of analytic operations and knowledge management issues across organizational and intra-IC boundaries and clearly articulates key findings.
• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
• Ability to communicate understanding from information that may be incomplete, indirect, highly complex, seemingly unrelated, and / or technically advanced.
• Demonstrates ability to collaborate and work with other IC members on information sharing, driving collection, and addressing analytic disputes and conflict resolution.
• Ability to develop concise, insightful, and comprehensive products for defense intelligence.

Preferred Qualifications

• Desired to have a minimum of twelve (12) years of experience related to the OSINT Analyst role with at least a portion of the experience within the last two (2) years.
• Desired to have a master's degree in an area related to the OSINT Analyst position.
