Job summary

US Foods is seeking a forklift operator to handle material movement within a warehouse. This role includes transporting pallet loads, replenishing slots, and performing safety checks in a multi-temperature environment.

The position requires OSHA forklift certification and basic math/reading skills; Voxware experience is a plus. Candidates should be able to work day and night shifts as needed and maintain safety and cleanliness standards.

Qualifications

• Able to read and write; basic math skills.
• OSHA forklift certification required.
• Familiarity with Voxware commands and warehouse software is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transport pallet loads from dock to designated warehouse slots using powered industrial equipment.
• Replenish pick slots from reserve slots to maintain inventory levels.
• Perform safety checks on battery, brakes, lift controls and fire extinguisher; report damages.
• Record all product, equipment and warehouse damages and maintain clean aisles.
