Qualifications

• 7+ years building construction safety experience required.
• OSHA 500 (Construction Industry Trainer) or OSHA 502 (Trainer Update) certification required.
• Continuing education in safety topics within the last 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Administer and oversee the project safety program throughout the full construction lifecycle.
• Implement and manage safety processes including hazard identification, mitigation, and field inspections.
• Conduct incident investigations and provide preventive recommendations.
• Provide training in Fall Protection, Scaffolds, Excavation & Trenching, Confined Space, Crane/Equipment Operations, Electrical Safety, and Incident Investigation.
• Review and approve safety method statements for high-hazard activities.
• Coordinate emergency response planning and First Aid/CPR/AED requirements.
• Maintain safety records, compliance documentation, and training evidence.
• Serve as liaison with ODR and project leadership on safety matters.
• Ensure subcontractors adhere to safety standards and regulatory requirements.
