Job summary

Alpha Omega is seeking an OSD Support Services professional in San Antonio, TX to design and implement enterprise OS Deployment (OSD) task sequences using PowerShell, VBScript, WMI, .NET and XML.

You will assess hardware and software for MECM OSD, validate products, manage images and drivers for on‑prem and MED365 Cloud environments, and provide senior level troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Active Secret (or above) clearance.
• BS degree in IT, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science from ABET/CAE institution.
• Certifications such as CompTIA Security+ and Microsoft Azure/Windows Server Hybrid Administrator are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create enterprise OS Deployment (OSD) Task Sequences using Microsoft scripting (PowerShell, VBScript, WMI, .NET, XML).
• Assess non-standard hardware/software for MECM OSD products and enterprise operability.
• Provide reports and current drivers for assigned hardware in on-prem and MED365 Cloud environments.
• Add, distribute and install images.
• Provide senior level technical support for OSD issues in on-prem and MED365 Cloud environments.
• Manage on-prem ITC environment; ensure performance and availability.

Job Title: OSD Support Services

Clearance Required: Secret

Work Location: Onsite, San Antonio, TX

Key Responsibilities

• Create custom enterprise level Operating System Deployment (OSD) Task Sequences utilizing Microsoft scripting technologies and components, such as PowerShell, VBScript, WMI, .NET and XML for captured images.
• Assess and validate non-standard hardware / software, to include new enterprise MECM OSD related products, to ensure operability in the enterprise.
• Provide a report on results. Provide enterprise administrators with current drivers for assigned hardware within the OSD process for both on-premise and MED365 Cloud environments. Ensure appropriate drivers are used for assigned hardware.
• Add, distribute, and install images.
• Provide senior level technical support for troubleshooting of OSD related issues for both on-premise and MED365 Cloud environments.
• Send notification to customers and groups prior to and after implemented requests or modifications.
• Manage and operate the on-premise ITC environment, ensuring system performance and availability requirements are met.
• Develop ITC processes for establishing testing environments.
• Ensure changes are not implemented in ITC environments without appropriate approvals and documentation.
• Resolve ITC incidents and problems.
• All other duties as assigned.

Education

• BS degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science, from an ABET accredited or CAE designated institution

Experience/Skills

• 3+ years of relevant experience
• Active Secret (or above) Clearance

Certification(s)

• CompTIA Security+ or similar (Cloud+ or GICSP or SSCP or GSEC)
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate

Salary And Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $75,000 - $113,785. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position and could fall outside of this range.
