Job summary

West Fraser in Bemidji, MN is seeking Production Technicians to operate OSB manufacturing equipment and support safe, efficient production in a 12-hour rotating shift environment. You will work with a team to maintain equipment, monitor quality, and meet production targets while following safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Eligible to legally work in the United States.
• Willing and able to work a 12-hour rotating schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to work as part of a team and deliver value to the team.
• Willingness to cross-train to learn new jobs and skills.
• Consistent, predictable attendance.
• Must pass a post-offer drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Operate OSB manufacturing equipment and related machinery.
• Operate forklifts and other mobile equipment to manage product flow.
• Perform preventive maintenance and clean-up on equipment.
• Work safely in a team environment and follow safety standards.
• Troubleshoot equipment and issues and participate in process improvement.
• Complete shift paperwork and maintain records from the shift.
