Job summary

Temple Health is seeking an OR Materials Clerk to ensure the daily, efficient management of operating room supplies, equipment, and instruments at our Philadelphia campus.

You will process, track and receive orders, maintain accurate files, and keep OR storage stocked with the right supplies each day. You will collaborate with OR staff and other departments to boost overall OR supply efficiency.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• General experience in health care environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily management of OR supplies, equipment and instruments.
• Processes and tracks orders for supplies, equipment and repairs; maintains order files.
• Ensures OR storage areas are stocked with appropriate supplies daily.
• Assists in management of the OR Materials Section and coordinates with OR staff and other departments to improve efficiency.

Ensures the daily, efficient management of Operating Room supplies, equipment, instruments, repairs, etc. Processes, tracks and receives orders for supplies, equipment, instruments and repairs and maintains accurate files relating to the orders. Ensure that all Operating Room supply storage areas are stocked with the appropriate amount and type of supply required daily. Assists in the overall management of the O.R. Materials Section. Works with O.R. staff and other hospital departments to ensure the overall efficiency of the O.R. supply system.
