Sanford Health in the United States is seeking a residency candidate to assist in comprehensive orthotic and prosthetic patient care under a physician's prescription. You will participate in patient assessment, develop and implement treatment plans, and support follow-up and practice management.

The role focuses on restoring function or cosmesis through orthotics/prosthetics, with training provided in a rural or large health system setting.

Formación

• Bachelor's or higher degree required.
• Attended and graduated from an Orthotic and Prosthetic education institution accredited by CAAHEP/NCOPE within the past ten years.
• Registered with NCOPE prior to starting the residency program.
• Possess a valid Class D driver's license and maintain a good driving record.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in orthotic and prosthetic patient care under physician prescription.
• Conduct patient assessment and contribute to treatment plans with follow-up.
• Design aims to restore function and/or cosmesis of the orthosis/prosthesis.

Job Description

The orthosis/prosthesis is designed to restore physiological function and/or cosmesis.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or higher degree.
• Attended and graduated from an Orthotic and Prosthetic education institution accredited by Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) / National Commission in Orthotic and Prosthetic Education (NCOPE) within the past ten years.
• Registered with NCOPE prior to starting the residency program.
• Possess a valid Class D driver's license and maintain a good driving record.
