MANUEL GARCIA PROSTHETICS LAB is seeking an Orthotist/Prosthetist to assess patient needs, read prescriptions, and craft custom devices based on physician recommendations.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team to ensure proper fit, comfort, and function, document patient information, and provide knowledgeable guidance to patients throughout the treatment process.

The ideal candidate combines strong clinical knowledge with exceptional communication and a patient-centered approach.

Formación

• Deep understanding of kinesiology, medical terminology, and prosthetic needs.
• Excellent communication skills and bedside manner.
• Ability to read and interpret physician prescriptions, charts, and reports.
• Strong organizational skills and multitasking across clients.

Responsabilidades

• Examine each client to determine appliance needs and fit issues.
• Fit and test devices for function, comfort, and practicality.
• Read physician prescriptions and craft orthopedic or prosthetic devices.
• Collaborate with care staff to ensure optimal patient care.
• Record patient information and maintain accurate records.
