Job summary

Hanger, Inc. is seeking a Clinical Aide to support certified clinicians in delivering orthotic and prosthetic patient care. You will prepare treatment rooms, assist with fabrications, and ensure accurate documentation under supervision in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Under the supervision of a clinician, you will perform administration tasks, manage inventory, and assist with patient care to ensure high-quality outcomes and compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of experience in a customer service or patient-facing role expected.
• Preference for allied health professionals (PTA, OTA, Athletic trainer, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Assist certified clinicians in delivering patient care services under direct supervision.
• Prepare treatment rooms and patients for clinical procedures.
• Perform technical fabrication tasks related to orthotics under supervision.
• Execute treatment modifications, adjustments, and repairs as directed by the clinician.
• Fit and provide soft goods items to patients.
• Provide alterations to soft goods items as needed.
• Provide orthotics fitting services independently.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of patient care.
• Communicate patient information and care outcomes to the clinician.
• Ensure all procedures comply with clinical protocols and safety standards.
• Assist with shipping, receiving, and inventory monitoring of materials.
• Coordinate with vendors to order necessary materials and supplies.
